Context

A nationwide portal listing condominiums and single-family homes (new, used, rental, custom-built), with sale assessments and real-estate news.

Challenge

The existing system had to be replaced by new repositories without changing how the portal behaved for its many users.

Approach

  • Defined the architecture for the new repositories.
  • Investigated and compared migration approaches.
  • Created test viewpoints as a shared quality baseline, and ran E2E checks with Puppeteer.
  • Planned the work quarter by quarter and consolidated status for the client.

Result

  • Migration to the new repositories with business behavior preserved.
  • Performance profiled with Dynatrace and logs managed in Splunk.
