Context

A mobile device testing platform: device lab management, a real-device cloud, test execution, and AI-augmented testing, integrated with DevOps toolchains.

Challenge

One platform combined device lab management, a real-device cloud, and test execution, built across several languages and communication protocols.

Approach

  • Owned the architecture of platform services in Node.js/TypeScript, Python, and Rust.
  • Designed services that communicate over Kafka, gRPC, REST, and WebSocket.
  • Delivered on AWS (EKS, RDS, S3, MSK) with GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Ansible, and Terraform.
  • Enforced coding standards and SonarQube quality gates across all languages.

Result

  • Services delivered on AWS (EKS, RDS, S3, MSK) with SonarQube quality gates.
  • Infrastructure and deployments defined as code with Terraform, Ansible, and ArgoCD.
